We are a partnership with the purpose of acquiring and leading a single, outstanding business. Our objective is to grow the acquired business, create long-term value for all stakeholders, and ensure the seller's legacy and vision are maintained.

Once we acquire a business, our Principal takes on the role of CEO, dedicating all his time to its operations. Our focus is on the long term: we avoid quick exits and prioritize sustainable growth.

Investment Criteria

We are interested in acquiring a business managed by an owner-operator who is seeking partial or full liquidity. While our approach is flexible, we require a majority ownership position. Companies should meet most of the following criteria:

We will also consider other industries that meet our criteria, except for those that are B2C, highly cyclical, or require high capital expenditure.

We move fast with a flexible and seller-focused process


Initial Contact

We start by getting to know you and your business. We'll discuss your goals for a sale and learn more about your company's history, operations, and financial performance.


In-person Meeting

We meet in person to get to know each other better and discuss further steps. We will sign a NDA to assure that your company’s information remains safe.


Letter of Intent

If we're both interested in moving forward, we'll work together to develop a letter of intent (LOI) that outlines the key terms of the transaction, including valuation, structure, and timeline.


Due Diligence

Once we've agreed on a set of terms, we'll conduct a due diligence process to review your financial, legal, and commercial information to validate the assumptions in the LOI.



Once due diligence is complete and we're all satisfied with the terms, we'll finalize the transaction and close the deal.


Once we've had a chance to learn more about your business, we'll schedule an in-person meeting to get to know each other better and discuss the potential partnership further. We'll also sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to protect your confidential information.


- Our Team - 


Jaime A. Barriga

Principal and Founder

Jaime has over 10 years of experience in investing, operating, and entrepreneurship. He began his career in 2012 at Altra Investments, a private equity firm with over $550 million in assets under management. At Altra, he analyzed investment opportunities in a variety of industries and worked closely with management teams to implement operational and strategic initiatives to create long term value. He was involved in acquiring, operating and selling several companies during this time. While at Altra, Jaime also co-founded SuperFuds, a leading healthy food distribution company in Colombia. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of SuperFuds.

In 2019, Jaime joined McKinsey & Company, one of the world's leading management consulting firms. While there, Jaime worked with leading companies, including many Fortune 100 companies, to help them improve their operations, develop strategic plans, and identify and evaluate investment opportunities.


He then moved on to OpenZeppelin, a cybersecurity company, where he led multiple teams to support the company's expansion and growth. Under his leadership, OpenZeppelin grew from 25 to 120 employees and established itself as a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions.

In his free time, Jaime enjoys cycling, watching sports, and reading about history and business. You might also find him at a horse jumping competition, cheering on his wife Daniela, a professional equestrian jumper.

Jaime holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BSc. in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes (Colombia).
